Sherrie Pilkington

Sherrie is one of the founding members of Hampton Roads Writers serving as the first Secretary and currently serves on the board as the Chairperson of the Programs Committee. When HRW was in their second year as a non-profit organization, Sherrie organized the Traveling Pen Series (TPS) of writer workshops and continues to serve as its coordinator. The TPS is a workshop-based program that connects the writing community with quality and affordable classes on the craft of writing and is presented by qualified instructors. While she patiently waits for the inspiration to write a book, she spins her prose for her blog ALifeofThrive.com. She is a Hampton Roads native and lives in Virginia Beach.
